Owner / Director of Instruction

Founder of Crandon Golf Academy that offers 23 years of experience in the golf industry as an established P.G.A Member, playing professional, former collegiate Head Men’s Golf Coach, and professional caddie on the LPGA and PGA Tour.  

Currently, Alex oversees Crandon Golf Academy @ Crandon Golf Course, Palmetto Golf Course and Country Club of Miami.  

Alex serves as the Junior Golf Chair for the Southern Chapter since 2018, and most recently was the recipient of the 2022 Youth Development of the year Award for the South Florida PGA  Section. Furthermore, he was recognized in 2021 by The PGA of America and awarded him the Game Changer Award for having the most PGA Junior Golf League attendees in the state and 13th most nationally.

· LPGA Tour caddie for Cristie Kerr $12,265,639 career earnings to date. 14 LPGA victories, 2 time Major Champion, 2007 US Open Women’s Champion, 2010 LPGA Women’s Championship

· Recognized as the 2008 The Sun Conference Coach of the Year

· 2008 St. Thomas University won The Sun Conference Champions and received an At-Large Birth to the NAIA Men’s National Championship

· 2010 the St. Thomas had an Individual (Omar Tejeida win The Sun Conference Championship and earn an automatic birth to the NAIA Men’s National Championship

· Recognized as 2011 The Sun Conference Coach of the Year

· Voted by peers as 2010-2011 The Sun Conference Golf Chair

· In 2011, St. Thomas University earned an At-Large Birth to the NAIA Men’s National Championship
